A ‘New Era’ for Apprenticeships

A ‘New Era’ for Apprenticeships

Due to the recent decision in raising tuition fees at universities, there is now an even bigger demand for alternative avenues of education. The Apprenticeships framework has undergone a transformation of late, making it a hugely beneficial route for both youngsters and businesses alike.

Purpose have been working with the National Apprenticeships Service (NAS) to create a campaign promoting apprenticeships as an alternative option for young people. The aim is to help tackle the low levels of awareness and deliver a measurable difference in the understanding, perception and uptake of the schemes.

Last week, a few of the team from Purpose went down to John Ross’ photography studio in Borough, to help bring the initial concepts to life, using real-life apprentices.

The campaign will be launched at the beginning of February to tie in with ‘National Apprenticeship Week 2012′, with advertising placed on the London underground network, on taxis and throughout various trade press.
