A fully enhanced website for Lord Sainsbury’s charitable foundation

March 2015

Purpose has been working closely with Lord Sainsbury’s charitable foundation – Gatsby, to enhance their digital presence.

Founded in 1967, Gatsby is one of the UK’s largest charitable foundations. Through innovation and focused donation, they act as the enabler for projects across a number of fields, from neuroscience through to education, that can wholly benefit from charitable support.

The newly responsive site which launched today, now delivers rich and dynamic content across all devices, with an additional gallery and media section to better showcase Gatsby’s diverse programmes and causes. The project builds on our long standing relationship with Gatsby and complements the strong brand development work we initially began working on back in 2011. By bringing the website up to date through it’s responsive nature and clearly defined navigation, it makes the site much more accessible, engaging and intuitive for it’s audiences.

We wanted to ensure our website was fit-for-purpose in the quickly changing digital landscape, whilst also maintaining its current look and feel. Purpose understood this briefly completely and have delivered a site that is refreshed and responsive but has absolutely maintained our brand identity.
